Launch a Poll during a Zoom meeting

These instructions guide you through launching a poll that was created before a Zoom meeting begins.

NOTE:  The person who creates the Zoom meeting is the only one who can create polls before a Zoom meeting begins. The person who creates the Zoom meeting and the polls is the only person who can launch the poll during the Zoom session.

1. In your Zoom meeting, click the Polling icon in the Zoom meeting toolbar.

2. The polls that you created in the meeting will appear.

3. Click Launch to allow participants to begin voting.

4. The poll will launch for your attendees and as they submitted the vote, the results will appear on your screen. When you are finished with the poll, click End Poll.

5. Once the poll ends, you can choose to share your results with the rest of your attendees. If you choose to share the results, click Share Results.

In you would not like to share the poll results you can exit out of the poll by clicking the X in the top left corner.

6. Once you are finished sharing results, click Stop Sharing.

7. (Optional) You can also choose to re-launch the poll, download results, or view results from browser by clicking the three dots next to the Share Results button.

8. When you are finished with the poll, you can click on the X in the top left corner to close the poll.
