1. In your course in Canvas, click on Zoom.
2. Find the name of your meeting and click Start.
3. A pop-up window will appear, click Launch Zoom. Then, click Open Zoom Meetings.
4. To unmute your microphone, click Join with computer audio when the meeting starts. Then, click Audio in the navigation bar.
The icons on the navigation provide information about whether the microphone is muted or not.
- When the microphone is muted, a red slash will appear over the microphone icon.
- When the microphone is NOT muted, the red slash will not appear.
5. To mute your microphone, click Audio in the navigation bar.

6. In your Zoom Meeting, click Video in the navigation bar.
7. Your video camera will turn on and your video will come on screen.
8. Click Video to turn off the camera and stop the video.
