Updated

If you are in a classroom with background noise, such as an air conditioner, changing the Zoom settings for noise suppression can sometimes improve the audio quality for the remote participants.

Hosts AND meeting participants should set their noise suppression to Medium.

1. In your Zoom meeting, click the arrow next to the microphone icon.

Zoom Meeting

2. From the menu select Audio Settings

3. In the Audio Settings, under Suppress background noise select Medium.
