If you are in a classroom with background noise, such as an air conditioner, changing the Zoom settings for noise suppression can sometimes improve the audio quality for the remote participants.
1. In your Zoom meeting, click the arrow next to the microphone icon in Audio.
Hosts AND meeting participants should both set their noise suppression to Medium.
2. From the menu select Audio settings.
3. In Audio settings, click Zoom background noise removal.
This will insure background noise will be removed.
