These instructions guide you through launching a poll that was created before a Zoom meeting begins.
NOTE: The person who creates the Zoom meeting is the only one who can create polls before a Zoom meeting begins. The person who creates the Zoom meeting and the polls is the only person who can launch the poll during the Zoom session.
1. In your Zoom meeting, click the Polling icon in the Zoom navigation bar.
2. The polls that you created in the meeting will appear.
3. Hover over the poll you want to launch until the Launch button appears. Click on the Launch button to allow participants to begin voting.
4. There are two ways attendees can vote on a poll - through Zoom and using a QR code.
4.1. To launch on Zoom, no additional steps need to be done. The poll will launch for your attendees and as they submitted the vote, the results will appear on your screen. When you are finished with the poll, click End Poll.
5. Once the poll ends, you can choose to share your results with the rest of your attendees. If you choose to share the results, click Share Results.
In you would not like to share the poll results you can exit out of the poll by clicking the X in the top left corner.
