Auto captioning a video does not provide 100% accuracy. If you are captioning a video that will be displayed publicly on the Teachers College website please open a servicedesk ticket by emailing: [email protected] to request human captioning which is done at an additional cost.
1. In your Canvas course, select TC Digital Media (TC DM) from the navigation menu.

2. In TC Digital Media, click Upload from the top navigation bar.

3. Click Browse.

4. Select your Zoom recording to upload and click Open.

5. Click Manage Captions.

6. In the drop down list select Auto Captioning and click Save.

7. Click Start Upload.

8. Media upload will begin.
This step may take some time.

9. Once your media is uploaded it will be located in your My Media folder.

10. When your captions have completed processing, you will be able to view them by clicking the CC icon next to the TC Digital Media playbar in the video.
