It is recommended you update your Zoom Desktop Client regularly to receive the latest security patches, features, and to ensure your Zoom meetings function properly.
1. During your Zoom meeting, at the top left of your computer screen, click Zoom Workplace. Then, click Check for updates.
If you install an update while in a Zoom meeting. You will need to exit the meeting and re-join for the update to work for the meeting you are in.
2. If your Zoom Desktop needs updating, you will receive a pop-up window with your current Zoom version and the latest Zoom version available for update. Click Update to start the download process.
For release notes about the update, click what's new. To schedule the update for a later time, click Not now.
3. The update will download. Once downloaded, click Install.
4. Your Zoom Installer will open, click Continue and follow the instructions for the rest of the installation.
5. Once you have followed all of the installation instructions, you will receive a message that your installation was successful. Click Close to exit.
