1. Log into the TC Portal
Students: https://student.tc.columbia.edu
Employee: https://employee.tc.columbia.edu
3. In Zoom, click Settings in the left navigation menu.

4. Click the Meeting tab at the top of the screen. .

5. Click In Meeting (Advanced) in the left side menu.

6. In the Breakout room-Meetings section, click the toggle button next to Allow host to split meeting participants into separate, smaller rooms. You may have to confirm this action.
The color of the toggle provides information about the status of the feature.
- When the toggle button is BLUE, the feature is ON.
- When the toggle button is GRAY, the feature if OFF.
