All Canvas courses have an End Date which is two years after the course's Start Date. If you would like to prevent students from accessing your Canvas course before the End Date or allow them to access your course after the End Date, you'll need to change the Course End Date in your Canvas course settings .
1. Log into your course in Canvas and click on Settings.
2. In the Ends section, enter the date you would like your course to end for students and then click Done.
3. Scroll down and click Update Course Details.
