Mentioning other users in a Canvas Discussion Board

1. Click Discussions in the Course Navigation Menu.
2. Click the title of the discussion.
3. The discussion page will open. To post on the discussion board, click Reply.
4. To mention a user, type the @ symbol in the Rich Content Editor. A list of the Discussion board users will appear as a dropdown to the right of the @ symbol. Click on the name of the user that you want to mention in the post.
5. Type the rest of your response in the Rich Content Editor following the user's name.
6. To submit your post, click Reply. The mentioned user will be notified that you have mentioned them in a Discussion Board post.
