In SpeedGrader, you can enter grades for student submissions. Grades are automatically displayed in the Gradebook.
2. Click the Canvas icon in the top-right corner.
3. Click Dashboard in the Global Navigation Menu.
4. Click a course card to access that course.
1. Click Grades in the Course Navigation Menu.
2. Hover your cursor over the assignment column header, and click the Options icon.
3. Click SpeedGrader.
4. Use the student list to locate a student submission.
The right side of the menu bar includes the student list for the assignment. SpeedGrader opens the assignment for the first student listed in the student list, arranged alphabetically by last name. If you have activated student view, the Test Student will be shown at the end of the student list. The student list also displays the status of each student's submission.
5. Once you have selected a student, the student's submission displays in the preview window.
6. Enter the grade in the sidebar, and click Submit.
Scores are entered according to the assignment's Display Grade setting. Scores can be entered as one of five options: points, complete/incomplete, letter grade, percentage, and GPA.
If a rubric is attached to the assignment, you can view the rubric by clicking the View Rubric button. If your rubric is set up for grading, the Grade field will automatically populate with the rubric grade results.
You can leave assignment feedback comments for the student in the comments section.
