1. Log into the myTC portal.
3. Click Dashboard in the Global Navigation Menu.

4. Click a course card to access that course.

1. Click Quizzes in the Course Navigation Menu.

2. Click the Add Quiz button.

3. Choose a Quiz Engine

4.1. Fill out the required Details [1] Assignment Name, [2] Points, [3] Assignment Group, [4] Display Grade As, and [5] Submission Type
4.4. Choose from the content list to add Questions

5.1. In the Details tab, enter the name of your quiz [1]. In the Rich Content Editor [2], introduce your quiz with formatted text, images, video, or sample math equations.
5.2. Click the Questions tab. Click the New Question button to manually create a new quiz question.

5.3. Quiz questions are not automatically numbered for instructors. To add a custom name to your quiz question, enter the name in the question text field.
Custom names can help you identify quiz questions more easily. Regardless of the question name, students always see quiz questions in numerical order (i.e. Question 1, Question 2).

5.4. Complete the rest of the quiz details.

5.5. In the question type drop-down menu, select the type of quiz question you would like to add.

5.6. To set the point value for the question, enter the points in the pts field.
Quiz point values support up to two decimal places. Entering more than two decimal places will round the point value to the nearest hundredth.

5.7. To save your question, click Update Question.

5.8. Enter your quiz question.
6. To create a draft of your quiz, click Save.
If you are ready to publish your quiz, click Save & Publish.

7. When your quiz is saved in a draft state, you can return to the page and publish it at any time by clicking the Publish button.
The button will change from gray to green.
