1. Log in to TC's Padlet.
2. Select Make a Padlet.

4. Rename your Padlet.
Retitle it to include your course #, course term, and assignment title.
Ex: TC1000002 - Spring 2021 - Introductions
5. Further customize your Padlet by selecting the system icon on the top-right and using the Modify menu that pops up.
You can customize the Title, description, wallpaper, font, color sceme using the right-hand side bar.

6. Customize the Posting [1] and Content Filtering [2] sections on the Modify menu.

7. Once settings are finalized, select Save.

9. A Share menu will open. In the Privacy section, select CHANGE PRIVACY.

10. Select the privacy settings you want.
If the Padlet is set to private [1], students will not be able to see it. Students additionally need to have permission to write [2].
If instructors are requiring students to use the Padlet as part of a course, student posts are FERPA data and cannot be Public. The highest level of protection is to share the Padlet with individual students. The next level is to add a password.
**Students should be advised not to share the Padlet with anyone outside of the course.

11. Save your privacy settings and return to the Share menu.
12. Select Embed in your blog or your website.

13. Some code will appear [1]. Select Copy underneath the code [2].

16. Add an additional step in the Getting Started area with instructions to use the Padlet embedded.

17. Create a new paragraph line after your instructions. An additional number will be added [1]. Click on the number list icon [2] to remove it.
18. Once you have a blank new paragraph line [1], select the cloud icon on the far right of the toolbar.
17. Paste the embed code you copied from Padlet into the box that appears [1] and submit [2].
