This basic tutorial will cover how to replace a PDF syllabus that is embedded on the Syllabus page with an updated PDF.
1. Navigate to the Syllabus page.
2. Click the Edit button.
3. Click on the linked text to reveal the Link Options/Remove Link menu. Select Remove Link.
4. Highlight the text again that you removed the link from. Select the Document icon in the editor toolbar.
5. Drag and drop your revised syllabus from your computer into the Upload File area that appears.
6. Click Submit to confirm your document selection.
7. Canvas will create a link in the text you highlighted in Step 4.
8. Click the newly-created link and select Link Options.
9. The Link Options menu will appear on the right.
9.1. Under Display Options, check Preview Inline and Expand Preview by Default.
9.2. Click Done to save changes.

10. Click the Update Syllabus button to save your changes.
