Require multiple replies for a Canvas Discussion Board

1. Click on your course card in Canvas.
2. Click Discussions in the Course Navigation Menu.
3. Click + Discussion in the top right corner.
4. Enter a title in the Topic Title field, and enter instructions in the Rich Content Editor.
5. In the Options section, click Graded and click Assign graded checkpoints
6. In the Checkpoint Settings section, specify the total number of points for the original reply to the topic, the number of additional replies required, and the points possible for the additional replies. The Total Points Possible will be displayed.
7. In the Assignment Settings section, enter the Due Date for the original reply to the topic and the Due Date for the additional replies.
