It important that you turn on the Honorlock Practice Quiz and encourage your students to take the practice quiz before they attempt your "real" quiz. The instructions below guide you through enabling the Practice Quiz that has created by Honorlock.
1. In your Canvas course, access Honorlock via the left Course Navigation.
1.1.1. Click Settings in the Course Navigation.
1.1.2. From the list of items that appears at the bottom in gray, find Honorlock and click and drag Honorlock to the top list.
1.1.3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
1.2. In the sidebar on the left, click Honorlock.
2. Locate and click the three white vertical dots in the top right, then click Add Practice Exam.
3. A pop-up box will appear, click OK.
4. A Practice Exam will display in the Honorlock menu. To activate this practice quiz, click Enable.
5. To select desired features, click on the bars. Include instructions for students (and proctors, if needed). Once Honorlock is configured to meet your needs, click Enable..
This is an example of text which might be used for Student Instructions:
"This is a CLOSED note exam. Using your e-book or textbook is NOT ALLOWED. You may use two sheets of scratch paper. You must remain in front of your computer for the duration of the exam. NO BATHROOM BREAKS. Cell phones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, and any other electronic devices are NOT PERMITTED. Failing to follow these instructions could result in a violation."
6. To view results or change settings for the quiz, go to the Honorlock panel.
