1.1. In your Canvas Dashboard, select your preferred course.
1.2. In the side navigation bar, click TC Digital Media.
1.3. You will be redirected to the TC Digital Media (Yuja Media) home page.
TC Digital Media automatically creates auto-captions for videos uploaded to TC Digital Media. However, you may need to edit the captions to make them more accurate.
It can take 24-48 hours for automatic captions to generate. You need to wait until that process is complete before you can edit the auto captions.
2. Click My Media [1]. Then, hover over your preferred video and click Edit [2].
3. To open any existing auto-generated captions, click Captions.
4. Your captions will appear to the left. You can edit the captions by clicking within the text box and editing the text.
5. When you have finished editing, click Save Project at the top-right of the editor window.
6. Title your edited video [1]. (Optional) Add a description. Then, click Replace [2].
In Preserve Original you have two options:
- Keep a copy of the original video in My Media: Will tag the original video with a [Original Copy] label.
- Move original video to the Recycle Bin: Will move the original video out of My Media and into the Recycle Bin.
7. The edited video will appear in My Media.
