Edit Closed Captions

TC Digital Media creates auto-captions to videos recording within TC Digital Media. However, you may need to edit the caption that are automatically generated. Learn how to do so below.

1. First, navigate to your TC Digital Media account.

Go to myTC portal, under Student/Faculty/Employee Resources tab, click on TC Digital Media (Video Storage).

Make sure TC Single-Sign-On is select and click Login

Or go to tc.yuja.com. Select TC Single Sign-On and click Login.

Log in using your TC UNI and password credentials.

2. You will now be in your TC Digital Media account.

3. Click on Manage Media to see all of your videos stored in TC Digital Media.

4. Find the video you want to edit the closed captions and hover your mouse over the video until a menu appears towards the right.

5. Click on Edit.

6. Click on the CC button to open the closed captions.

7. The closed captions will open to the right. You can edit the captions by clicking within the text box and editing the text.

8. You can delete a caption by clicking the trash can to the right of it.

9. You can add a new caption by clicking on the playback bar and selecting where you would like to add a new caption and then click Add Caption at...

10. Once you are finished, click on Save at the top.

11. A pop-up will appear where you can change the title, add a description, and update the index and transcript with caption edits. Furthermore, you can choose to exit without saving, replace the existing video, or save as a new video.

12. Once you have saved or existed the editor, you will be brought back to your TC Digital Media account.
