Video and audio uploaded to TCDM are automatically captioned. There is a delay between when you upload the media and when the auto captions will be available.
1.1. Log into the TC Portal Using the link(s) below:
Students: https://student.tc.columbia.edu
Employees: https://employee.tc.columbia.edu
1.2. In Resources & Knowledge, either type in the search bar "TC Digital Media" or select TC Digital Media from your pinned resources.
1.3. In the top-right corner make sure to select TC Single-Sign-On [1] from the drop-down. Then, click Sign In [2].
1.4. If redirected to TC Single-Sign-On, sign in with your UNI and TC Password [1]. Then, click Sign in [2].
1.5. You will now be signed into the TC Digital Media (Yuja Media) home page.
2. Hover over the preferred video and click More.
3. In the side panel, click Accessibility.
4. You will see a list of available transcript and captioning options for download. Click the three dots on your preferred text file type (SRT, TXT, or PDF) [1] . Then, click Download [2].
5. Your browser will begin the download process.
6. The file is now ready for viewing in either your browser or file application.
