How to Embed a Google Document into Canvas

1. Begin in your Google Document. Click Share in the upper right corner.

3. Go to your Canvas course and select Discussions from the course menu.

4. Select the Discussion you would like to post to.

5. In the discussion click Reply.

6. In the Rich text Editor click the Blue External Tools Icon.

7. From the drop-down list select Google Apps.

8. Serach for the document you would like to embed.

9. Select the document and click Embed.

10. Your document will be embedded into the discussion and click Post Reply to add to the discussion for others to comment on.

11. Your discussion post will appear.
