Embed a Google document into Canvas

1. Begin in your Google Document. Click Share in the upper right corner.

3. Select Commenter from the dropdown menu.

4. Go to your Canvas course and select Discussions from the course menu.

5. Select the Discussion you would like to post to.

6. In the discussion, click Reply.

7. In the Rich text Editor, click the plug Tools Icon.

8. From the pop-out list, select Google Apps.

9. Search for the document you would like to embed.

10. Select the document and click Embed.

11. Your document will be embedded into the discussion and click Post Reply to add to the discussion for others to comment on.

12. Your discussion post will appear.
