Share your screen or window during a Google Meet

1. To share your entire screen or a specific window with your meeting participants, click on the present icon at the bottom.

2. Choose between sharing Your entire screen, A window or A tab.

There are three Present options:

Your entire screen: The entire screen will be shared with your participants.  

A window:  A specific window or application will be shared with your participants. All other information on your computer screen will not be shared.

A tab: A specific tab on your browser will be shared.  

2.1. If you select your entire screen, a pop-up will appear for you to confirm your selection. Click on the entire screen windows and click Share. Once you have made your selection, your participants will see your window.

2.2. If you selected to share A window or application window, a pop-up will appear for you to choose which application window to share. Then, click Share. Once you have made your selection, your participants will see your window.

2.3. If you selected to share a specific tab in a web browser, a pop-up will appear for you to choose which tab to share. Click Share tab audio if you are playing a video. Then, click Share. Once you have made your selection, your participants will see your window.

3. Depending on how you decided to share Your entire screen, A window, or A tab, you will follow one of these steps to stop sharing the information.  

3.1. To stop sharing Your entire screen, Stop sharing blue button at the bottom of the screen.

3.3. To stop sharing A tab, click the Stop Sharing located at the top of the screen.
