- You may receive an email from [email protected] alerting you that your network access is about to expire. This is in relation to the ClearPass identity certificate expiring on your BYOD device (personal phone/tablet/laptop) and requires that the certificate be updated. The original identity certificate was valid for 1 year. Once updated, the new identity certificate will be valid for 5 years.
- Locate the ClearPass QuickConnect app on your device. If it's not present, you can download and install it from the Google Play Store.
- Open the ClearPass QuickConnect app, and select the Columbia Teachers College network to continue.
- Login with your Active Directory credentials, check the terms of use box, and click Log In.
- Click I have already installed QuickConnect.
- Click Install Network Profile.
- Click Open to run the network config file.
- The app will go through the provisioning process. You do not need to do anything for this step.
- Once provisioning is complete, click OK to proceed.
- At this point, your device is re-provisioned and your identity certificate has been renewed for 5 years. Feel free to close out of the web page and continue using your wireless connection.
