Add and Delete Question Blocks in Qualtrics

The body of each survey consists of blocks and questions. A block is a group of questions. Each block will appear on a separate page in a desktop browser.

1. A new survey will begin with a Default Question Block that you can rename by clicking on the block title. The initial block will contain a blank multiple choice question by default.

2. To add a new question to the current block, click Add new question and select a question type.

Qualtrics provides over 100 different ways to ask a question. There are many question types and a variety of settings that can be used to access each of these possibilities. For a brief description of each question type, with links to pages where you can learn more about each, click here.

3. To add a new block of questions, click on Add Block at the bottom of the current block you are working on.

4. To move a question, click the more options button in the top right corner of the block. Then, select Move question.

5. To delete a question select Delete.
