Go to “Record”. Check if you see the “Cameo” button.
Enable the "Recording" Tab
You only need to do this once to make the recording tools visible in your top ribbon.
On Mac: Go to PowerPoint (menu) > Preferences > Ribbon & Toolbar. Check the box next to Recording and click Save.
On Windows: Go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon. In the right-hand column, check Recording and click OK.
Check System Permissions
Ensure your computer allows PowerPoint to use your hardware.
- Click on Camera Preview.
- Ensure PowerPoint has permission to access the Camera and Microphone.
