1. To reset a users password go to the Okta site using one of the following links:
End user links should be used when the service desk staff wants to access their own accounts as an end user: Production: sso.tc.columbia.edu Preview: ssotest.tc.columbia.edu
Administrator Links should be used when the service desk staff needs to perform administrative function: Production: https://tccu-admin.okta.com/admin/dashboard
2. Click on the "Admin" Button
3. A "People" Window will appear in the search bar enter the name or uni of the person whose password you are resetting
4. From the user's profile click on the "Reset Password "button, then select "Reset Password"
Users without an external email in their profile will have to have a temporary password reset
4.1. From the users profile click on the "Create a temporary password" button, then select "Reset Password"
4.1.1. A confirmation window will appear displaying the temporary password.
5. When a password is reset an email is sent to the end-user with the link to reset their password. When creating temporary passwords administrators must share the temporary password with the user via Confidential Mode in Gmail.

Only Okta Admins will see the Okta home page
