Before using the Mentimeter app for Zoom, follow the instructions in the article Connect Mentimeter app with Zoom to install the Mentimeter app.
1. In your Zoom class meeting, click Apps.
2. Under My Apps, click Mentimeter.
3. Select your presentation from the list.
Note that you will need to set up your poll/presentation in your Mentimeter account prior to class.
4. [Option 1] Click the Send icon to invite all participants or specific participant(s) to join the Mentimeter presentation.
- Participants need to have the latest version of Zoom and installed the Mentimeter app for Zoom in order to complete the poll in the Zoom meeting.
- Participants who join the Zoom meeting from their mobile devices will need to follow Step 5 to participate in the Mentimeter poll. As of now, Mentimeter app for Zoom is not available on mobile devices.
4.1. Participants who joined the presentation can participate in the Mentimeter presentation.
5. [Option 2] Participants can also join by entering the code specific to your Mentimeter presentation.
5.1. Click the Share icon to share your Mentimeter presentation with participants.
5.2. Participants will see the poll question and the code.
5.3. Participants can answer the poll by entering the code into the Mentimeter app or by using a web browser. When using a web browser participants will need to click the link below, then enter the code [1] and click Submit [2].
6. By continuing sharing your screen, participants can view live results from the Mentimeter poll.
7. To end the poll, click Stop Share.
