Write on the Zoom whiteboard

Zoom Whiteboard feature allows you to share a whiteboard that you and other participants (if allowed) can annotate on.

1. In your Zoom meeting, click Share Screen.

2. Click Whiteboard, then click Share.

3. A blank whiteboard should appear on your screen.

4. To enable the annotations feature for your participants:

4.1. Click Security.

4.2. Under Allow participants to: check Annotate on Shared Content.

5. For participants to annotate on the whiteboard:

5.1. Click View Options.

5.2. Click Annotate.

6. You can use different annotation tools when using a Zoom whiteboard.

6.1. Select: Select, move, or resize your annotations.

6.2. Text: Insert text.

6.3. Draw: Insert lines, arrows, and shapes.

6.4. Stamp: Insert predefined icons, such as a check mark or a star.

6.5. Spotlight: Turn your cursor into a spotlight, arrow or vanishing pen.

6.6. Eraser: Click and drag to erase parts of your annotation.

6.7. Format: Change the formatting options of annotations tools like color, line width, and font.

6.8. Undo: Undo your latest annotation.

6.9. Redo: Redo your latest annotation that you undid.

6.10. Clear: Delete all drawings, or delete your own drawings, or delete participants' drawings.

6.11. Save: Save whiteboard and its annotations as a PNG or PDF to your computer.

7. Click Stop Share to close and stop sharing the whiteboard.
