Record a video in a Canvas Discussion Board

1. Click on the discussion in your Canvas course that you would like to record a video.

2. Click Reply in the discussion board.

3. In the rich text editor, click the Upload/Record video button and select Upload/Record Media.

4. If using Google Chrome, be sure to allow Canvas to access your camera.

5. Select the Camera you would like to use to record your video.

6. Select the audio option you would like to use to record your video.

7. To begin recording video, click the Start Recording button.

8. The time [1] and the volume level [2] of your recording will continuously update as you record. To stop recording, click the Finish button [3].

9. Click Save Media.

10. Your video automatically inserted into the Rich Content Editor.

11. Click the Save button.
