Once you are done coding, there are many ways to visualize your data using NVivo.
1. Click the Explore tab, then click Hierarchy Chart.
2. Choose what you would like to visualize by choosing Amount of coding for, Sentiment coded to or Attribute Values. Then, click Next.
3. Select what would you like to compare (codes, cases, sentiment or items), and choose the items (files, externals or memos) containing the codes [1]. Then, click Finish [2].
4. Your Hierarchy Chart will be created from your data.
5. Another way to view your hierarchy chart is in a circular sunburst data wheel.
5.1. Click anywhere within the hierarchy chart.
5.2. Under the Hierarchy Chart tab, click the Sunburst type to change the type of chart displayed.
5.3. You have now created a Sunburst.
6. To export your hierarchy chart, right click the chart and select Export Hierarchy Chart.
7. Select the location of the exported hierarchy chart by clicking the location you want on the left navigation window.
8. Type the name of your hierarchy chart in the File name: text box.
9. Select the format you want the hierarchy chart to be exported to by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the Save as type: text box.
