1. On the NVivo start screen, click Create New Project.
2. Enter a name for this project and add a description.
3. Click the Browse button and choose a location to save your project. Then, click Create.
Nvivo files should be saved in a local file. If you work with your NVivo project while it is stored on a network location, a USB stick, a cloud server, or another external location you might run into performance issues and receive error messages.
4. Congratulations! You have created a new project.
