Microsoft Power BI

Updated on

Microsoft Power BI is a collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.  Whether data is a simple Excel workbook, or a local database, Power BI allows easy connection to data sources, visualizing (or discovering) what's important, and share with anyone or everyone.

Microsoft Power BI consists of a Software as a Service called the Power BI service and a Microsoft Windows desktop application called Power BI Desktop (not available for Mac).

Even though TC has an unlimited amount of Power BI licenses, licenses are manually assigned to each individual. Therefore, you will need to send an email to the Service Desk ([email protected]) to request a Power BI license before you are able to use the tool.
