1. Go to Teachers College ScreenPal Pro page.
Note: The ScreenPal Pro page is available for TC faculty and staff use. TC Faculty and staff should contact [email protected] to request the URL for the Pro page.
2. From your Pro account page, click I agree to the Terms of Service.
3. Click Launch the Recorder.
4. Download launcher if needed.
5. Click Open ScreenPal.
6. When the screen recorder appears, click Camera.
7. When you are ready to begin recording, click the red REC button.
8. There will be a 3-second countdown. After GO! disappears, your recording will begin.
9. When you are done recording, click the blue Pause button.
10. When the recording has stopped, you can:
10.1. Click the Play button to review the recording.
10.2. Click the trash can to delete the recording and start again.
10.3. Click Done to begin saving the recording.
11. Once you click Done, you can choose whether you want to save, upload, share or edit your video.
12. To save the video as a MP4 file, click Save / Upload.
13. Click the hamburger button and select Save as Video File.
14. You can edit all the fields before downloading your video.
14.1. Click the Filename field and give your recording a name.
14.2. Click the Folder field and select to where you would like to store your recording on your computer.
14.3. Click Publish to download the video.
15. A message will appear while the recording is being saved to your computer.
16. When the publishing is complete, you can check your recording by clicking Browse Folder.
17. The name of your recording will be highlighted. You can share this file via email or upload to a video service such as TC Digital Media or YouTube.
