By changing your preferences in the Message Center, you can control your email notifications for items posted to the TC Message Center.
You cannot control email alerts for postings to Announcements. You will automatically receive an email every time an Announcement is posted.
1. Log in to myTC.columbia.edu.
2. In the Message Center section, click My Preferences.
3. Click either Managed Messages or Bulletin Board.
You are automatically Subscribed to all postings to Managed Messages. You are automatically Unsubscribed to all Bulletin Board postings.
When you are Subscribed to a category, you will automatically receive an email alert every time a messages is posted to that category.
4. Click Subscribe to receive email alerts every time a message is posted to that category. Click Unsubscribe to stop receiving email alerts every time a message is posted to that category.
5. You will see a message at the top of the Message Center alerting you that the change was successful.
