Create custom groups in Endnote (Mac)

Custom groups are folders that allows you to group references based on your criteria.

1. Open your Endnote Library and click Groups in the tool bar. Then, click Create Group.

2. On the left under My Groups, enter a name for the group. Click anywhere outside of the box to save the new group.

3. Select the reference you would like to add to the group. Then, click Groups, click Add References To and select the name of the group.

4. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop the references directly into your custom group.

5. To delete references from your group.

5.1. Click and highlight the references that you want to remove from the custom group.

5.2. Click Delete on the keyboard and confirm removal.
