Add an item to a module in Canvas

Find your Canvas course

1. Log into the myTC portal.

2. Click the Canvas icon in the top-right corner.

3. Click Dashboard in the Global Navigation Menu.

4. Click a course card to access that course.

1. Click Modules in the Course Navigation Menu.

2. Click the Add Item icon for the module that you would like to add an item to.

3. A pop-up will appear. Click the Add drop-down menu.

4. Select one of the item types.

5. To add a new item:

5.1. Click [ New Topic ].

5.2. Enter a title in the Topic Name field.

5.3. Click Add Item.

6. To add an existing item:

6.1. Click the name of the item you would like to add.

6.2. Click Add Item.

You can select more than one item to add.

7. The added item will appear at the bottom of the list of items in the module.
