Signing a PDF (Chromebook)

Updated on

This is the workaround for Chromebook users since Adobe Reader is not compatible. Therefore, after Chromebook users sign a document, the form will no longer be fillable. As a result, any other person who needs to continue filling it out or sign, cannot use the standard features and must do a simple "sign" just like the Chromebook user. For this reason, Chromebook users should be the last to fill out/sign a document requiring multiple signatures.

First You will need to download Adobe Reader Extension,  if you already have it skip to step 7.

1. To enable Adobe Extension open the Chrome browser on your Chromebook.

2. On the address bar, type Abode Reader and tap on the Enter key.

3. Open official Chrome Web Store link of Adobe Acrobat.

4. Hover to select Add to Chrome button.

5. On the pop-up, click on the Add extension button.

6. After it gets installed, you can use the extension to view and read all the PDF files on your Chromebook. You can also make  Adobe Reader the default for opening files.
