Submit Exam Request to Accommodation Portal

1. Login to the Accommodation Portal.

2. Click Student/Employee.

3. Sign in using your Teachers College UNI and password.

4. In the toolbar on the left, click Testing Room.

If Testing Room is not visible contact OASID at [email protected].

5. On the bottom left, click on New Booking Request.

6. Select the course from the drop down menu.

The page will then reload.

7. Under Date Range, click the Select buttons.

If your exam is scheduled to take place on one day, please select the same date for both options.

8. Provide start time and end time that has been given for this exam.

9. Indicate whether you would like to Override Course Length for your exam.

If your test or quiz is not the entire length of your class time, select Yes. Then indicate the amount of time the class is given to complete the test or quiz. If the quiz is the same time as the class length, select No.

10. For regular quizzes and exams, choose OASID Virtual Testing Room.

If you are taking a Masters Comp Exam or a Certification Exam, check the checkbox next to the appropriate room.

11. Choose the day of the week your exam is scheduled.

12. On the bottom left, click the Check Availability button. Then, click the first available room listed.

Note: The testing rooms and times are not attached to physical spaces.

13. Write the name of the exam/quiz under Exam (e.g. exam 2, quiz 4).

The length will be calculated by the system, but OASID will finalize your exam time according to your accommodations.

14. Choose Exam Type from the drop down menu.

Provide OASID with the information below in the Notes section.

Please Include:

  • Professor Name
  • Professor’s preferred email and phone number 
  • Your availability on scheduled exam date
  • If the exam is in-person or virtual

15. Click Submit Request.

16. Your exam request will be listed under Pending Booking Requests.

Once the request is approved, OASID be will in contact with final details for the exam. No further action is required on your end. OASID will contact your instructors to coordinate exam accommodations.
