Combine 2 PDFs (PC)

This should be used if you receive an error message in Adobe Acrobat Pro when attempting to combine multiple PDFs. If you have any questions or need further assistance please contact us at: servicedesk@tc.columbia.edu

1. Right click on your PDF file and select Open with from the menu. From the next menu select Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Once the file has opened in Adobe Reader click Print.

3. From the drop-down printer list select Microsoft Print to PDF.

4. Select where on your PC you would like this document to be saved and give your file a new name. Click Save.

5. Navigate to the space where you saved your PDF and Right click on the file and click Open with and select Adobe Acrobat Pro.

6. Click Combine Files from the side menu.

7. You will then be able to combine multiple files into one.
