If you are not assigned as the Host of a Zoom meeting, you can become the meeting host once the meeting begins by having the person who created the meeting share with you the meeting link and their Host Key .
1. Go to the meeting by clicking on the meeting link. Note: The person who created the meeting needs to share this link with you.
2. When in the meeting, click Participants.
3. In the Participant window, click Claim Host.
4. In the Host Key box, enter the Host Key number provided to you by the person who created the meeting.
5. Click Claim Host.
6. Next to your name, you will see an indicator that you are Host.
