Stale Request error when using the Google Chrome browser

If you get a 'Stale Request' error when you click on the Zoom link in Canvas, please follow the instructions below for your browser to resolve the error message.  If the message persists or you have questions, please email servicedesk@tc.columbia.edu

1. In your Chrome browser, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and click Settings

2. In the Privacy and security section, click the arrow to the right of Clear browsing data

3. In the Time range section, select All time and then Clear data

4. In the Privacy and security, click on the arrow next to Site Settings

5. In the Permissions section, click the arrow next to Cookies and site data

6. Insure that 'Block third-party cookies' is in OFF position

7. Go to Chrome flags at URL chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookie

8. In the SameSite by default cookies section, choose Disabled and restart your Chrome browser by clicking Relaunch
