Citations in EndNote are stored in Libraries. EndNote library allows you to organize and store your references. You can have different libraries for different projects. For example, you might have a dissertation library and a separate coursework library.
1. To create a new library, click File. Then click New.
2. In the popup window,
2.1. Enter a name for your library in the File name: text box.
2.2. Click within the left navigation window to select the location you want to save your new EndNote library.
2.3. Click Save.
3. The new EndNote library is now created.
