Add a syllabus to your Canvas course

Find your Canvas course

1. Log into the myTC portal.

2. Click the Canvas icon in the top-right corner.

3. Click Dashboard in the Global Navigation Menu.

4. Click a course card to access that course.

1. Click Syllabus in the Course Navigation Menu.

2. Click the Edit button.

3. Click Insert.

4. Hover your cursor over Document, and click Upload Document.

5. A pop-up will appear. Click the Upload File box to browse your computer and locate a file.

You can also drag and drop the file into the box.

6. Select the file from your computer, and click Open.

7. Click Submit.

8. The file will appear in the Rich Content Editor.

11. Click Update Syllabus.

12. View the syllabus in the Syllabus page.

You and your students can scroll through the file preview or download a copy.
